The next day while waiting for her friends a man named Robert Blakemore (Rabbit) is there to apply for the job as dishwasher. Dee is concerned she and her aunt will be arrested as suspects and she and her friends decide to find out who killed Jeremy and why. This is where the story takes off with all kinds of twists and turns with the supporting characters adding to the story. He is also looking for Sam who seems to have disappeared. Detective Calvin Capone arrives, He goes to Dee s apartment to interview her and her aunt about Jeremy's death and takes the gun which Delilah still has in her hands. Dee calls for help and people come out of the restaurant. When Dee goes out to get some air she finds Jeremy dead and her aunt unconscious in her wheelchair with the gun in her lap. Her aunt, Elizabeth O'Grady and her caretaker, Jeremy come to the opening but she seems not herself.
